My group was given the task of recreating a historically accurate room, and we chose to do a Moroccan hookah lounge. It started out with simple sketches like this in order to help us figure out general furniture pieces.
We then blocked out the room with simple shapes with the intention to replace them with the final models in order to best determine scale and layout.
Two of the props I did were a Moroccan hookah, or shisha,
and a hanging lantern with cutouts.
